DIY — CLOTH FACE MASKS

Overview

In response to PPE shortage during the Covid-19 pandemic, I began sewing cloth face masks for my best friends working on the front lines and donating to healthcare facilities. The CDC recommends wearing cloth face coverings in public settings while maintaining 6-feet social distancing to slow the spread of the virus, and help people who have the virus but may not realize it from transmitting to others.

I created a tutorial for making your own cloth face masks, with tips for sewing in bulk on machine. My hope is it enables more people to make masks to keep themselves and their loved ones safe.
